Description
Independence Square – Philadelphia PA – Postcard. This postcard has not been used.
Independence Series No. 2
Independence Square
Showing rear view of Independence Hall. In this park the Declaration of Independence was first publicly read by Colonel John Nixon, on July 8th, 1776. Since that time maintained by the city of Philadelphia as a public garden.
The postcard would look great framed or as a cool addition to an art or scrapbooking project.
The postcard measures approximately 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. The postcard image size may vary. The postcard shows typical natural aging and wear from use and age. Please NOTE: The scanned image was not enhanced but may appear more vibrant (the actual page colors will appear more muted).
If you have any questions, would like additional photos, let me know. Don’t forget, this is a vintage item with some wear.
